We offer a nurturing environment, taking time to settle in children at their pace, sharing with parents the culture of the setting. We offer plenty of opportunities for parents and families to give us their ideas and thoughts about what we are doing, day to day and week to week, in particular celebrating cultural experiences and religious events throughout the year. We send out parent surveys, invitations to family activities, workshops and have an amazing software platform which enables parents instant messaging to view photos and videos of their children in real time at the click of a button.
Our nursery is a place of wonder, exploration, and learning, where each child's unique qualities are celebrated and cherished. With a team of dedicated caregivers and a safe, stimulating environment, we are committed to providing your child with the best start in life.
Our Nursery
We employ staff with a range of childcare qualifications and take on apprentices, interns and graduate students. We also welcome international students from Germany, America and Spain.

Our Staff
Staff in the baby room have specific expertise with this age group and complete various online courses during induction that are specific to babies needs. All staff hold a paediatric first aid certificate. We offer staff many opportunities for continuing professional development to further enhance the quality of our provision.
We offer Staff at Nest Nursery a bespoke training and performance plan to ensure the quality of provision is of a exceptionally high standard.
Hatchlings and Owls
Hatchlings is our baby unit and Owls is our 2+ unit.
Our owls staff are very invested in working with babies and toddlers in both units who are navigating their way to becoming emotional resilient and developing their independence. The staff are experts in ensure that children are school ready, and they work very closely with the local primary schools, supporting your child as they make these important transitions.

Our doors are always open and we are available for you at any time. We have a great data software which enables you to stay in touch with your special person throughout the day by direct messaging, photo uploads, updates and videos.

Food and Meals
We are fortunate to have a trained chef who follows the Children’s Food Trust guidelines. We ensure the correct nutritional balance for the menus please feel free to request a copy. We send out a request seasonally for parents to suggest or request their favourite healthy dishes which reflect their culture and are familiar favourites.

Jacob has settled in so quickly at Nest and so much of that is down to the fantastic team caring for him. Nest has a lovely relaxed and welcoming feel that has allowed him to really enjoy his time there
I have been so happy with the Nest Nursery and couldn’t recommend it more highly. My daughter started this month and settled very quickly. The staff are all lovely and I was quickly struck by how at home and happy the children are in the environment. My daughter comes home singing songs that she’s learnt at nursery and talking about the lovely activities she’s done that day - feeding Rose, the nursery rabbit, is often a highlight. The nursery also offers more flexibility than many nurseries which is a big advantage for working parents.’
We struggled for so long to find a nurturing, caring nursery that was child led, with lots of messy play and a large outdoor space in the area… we’re so happy that the Nest opened its doors.
